Dr. Kalani was raised in Lakewood, Colorado, and is excited to serve her community. She graduated magna cum laude from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. She received her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Kalani completed her internship at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She returned to the University of Colorado to complete her dermatology residency. She trained in multiple dermatology settings, including at the University of Colorado Hospital, Denver Health Medical Center, Veteran Affairs Medical Center, and Children's Hospital of Colorado.
Dr. Kalani recognizes that dermatologic diseases can be deeply personal and significantly impact a patient's quality of life. She strives to create a kind and compassionate space for her patients to share their concerns and works with patients to develop personalized treatment plans. Dr. Kalani enjoys treating all dermatologic diseases. She takes a special interest in women's dermatologic disease and gynecologic dermatology.
Dr. Kalani enjoys spending time with her son and husband. She spends her free time trail running, hiking 14ers, trying new restaurants, and traveling abroad.
